Privacy Policy
OmniaDataAnalytics LLC (“we”, “our”) operates FlipPhonic. We respect your privacy. This policy explains what we collect and how it’s used.
What we collect
Nothing about you, by design. FlipPhonic has no accounts, no analytics SDKs, no advertising identifiers, and no third-party SDKs apart from ElevenLabs (described below). The only data that leaves your device is the text you type, which is sent over HTTPS to our proxy server and then to ElevenLabs to generate the audio. Neither our proxy nor ElevenLabs is configured to retain that text beyond fulfilling the immediate request. Two optional FlipPhonic Plus features — iCloud sync and Shared links, both off by default and described below — can send additional data only after you turn them on.
Stored on your device
The following stay on your iPhone unless you turn on the optional iCloud sync (FlipPhonic Plus) feature described below:
- Your saved favorites and play history
- Your saved (“hearted”) voices
- Your most recently used voice, so it's restored on next launch
- Cached audio files, capped at 100 MB with oldest evicted first (iOS may also purge under storage pressure)
- Your onboarding preference (whether you've seen the welcome screen)
Clear all of the above anytime from Settings → Clear All Data inside the app. Uninstalling the app removes everything, including the cache.
iCloud sync (FlipPhonic Plus)
FlipPhonic Plus offers an optional Sync with iCloud toggle, off by default. When you turn it on, your favorites, play history, saved voices, collections, and tags are backed up and kept in sync across your devices through your own private iCloud account (Apple’s CloudKit). That data stays in your personal iCloud — it is not sent to our servers, and we cannot read it. Your generated audio is never synced, and neither is your subscription status. Turning the toggle off stops syncing; data already in your iCloud is managed by you in iOS Settings and is governed by Apple’s privacy policy.
Shared links (FlipPhonic Plus)
FlipPhonic Plus includes an optional Share link (web) feature. It is entirely opt-in: nothing is uploaded unless you choose to create a link and accept the on-screen consent prompt first. When you do, FlipPhonic uploads, for that one clip:
- the audio of the clip, and
- its text (the original word and its reversal).
The clip is stored on our first-party share service, hosted on Microsoft Azure. We generate a short link with an unguessable identifier; anyone who has that link can play the audio and see its text in a web browser. There are no accounts, and the link is the only way to reach the clip.
The link and the uploaded clip automatically expire and are deleted 7 days after you create them. To remove a shared clip sooner, email info@omniadataanalytics.com with the link. We do not use shared clips for any purpose other than serving the link you created.
Third parties
FlipPhonic uses ElevenLabs to generate the audio from your typed text. Your text is transmitted to ElevenLabs every time you tap “Play” on a phrase that isn't already in your local cache, and its handling is governed by their privacy policy. If — and only if — you use the optional Shared links feature above, the clip you choose to share is also stored on Microsoft Azure, which hosts our share service. FlipPhonic uses no other third-party services, and no analytics or advertising SDKs.
Children's privacy
FlipPhonic is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.
How we use your data
Only to operate, secure, and improve FlipPhonic. We do not sell your data. We do not run third-party ad networks.
